Why Startup Awards?
Ukrainian startup ecosystem is growing fast. A few years ago, Ukraine was mostly known for its amazing dev power but more and more startups are now recognizing their Ukrainian roots, more and more founders are eager to get started right here in Ukraine!

It means that the local founders can really learn from each other, share their already existing know-how and expertise, and create a wider pool of valuable global contacts by collaborating.

The Stereotype Crusher of 2020
Positive role models have a huge impact on the decisions our next generation is already making today. In this category, we're looking for road-pavers leading the way to more equality and inclusiveness.
The Foreign Startup of 2020
Ukraine's fast-growing startup scene is home to hundreds of foreign
companies, which come to build their engineering and product teams
in here. Their Ukrainian might not be perfect yet, but they are eager to
learn the culture and give a way to the best talents.
The Wise Wallet of 2020
The best investors are team players, gate openers and bridge builders. They lift a startup with all their resources, including their connections and know-how, giving meaning to the phrase "Smart Money". We're hoping to see at least 2 investments in 2020 from all nominees.
The Big Bang of 2020
In this category we're looking for startups who did something big and loud in 2020. Maybe a pivot? A product launch? An impressive campaign? Or a new location? Their achievement impressed and inspired us all!
The Bootstrap Badger of 2020
There are plenty of paths to success for a young startup, with funds or without. In this category we wish to praise the creativity, courage and teamwork required to survive bootstrap mode — we're looking for a startup that has raised under $200k, really stood out from the rest.
The Revenue Hack of 2020
We're looking for revenue-making machines! They've hacked their way to success and shown us all how to make money as a startup.
The Impact Visionary of 2020

The Founder of the Year 2020
What is the Oscars without the Best Picture? The same as Startup Awards without the Founder of the Year. Whether to judge their boldness, empathy, creativity or wit for numbers... the choice is yours. One thing is clear — this person deserves a VERY loud applause by the end of 2020!
The Startup Sector of 2020
Which sector rocked the startup scene in 2020? Was there a pattern? A trend? Help us to notice it (and maybe even list a few names)!
